Corporate President
Brock Country Day is owned by Healthy Concepts, Inc. with Barbee Harris as Corporate President.
Barbee is a graduate of Stephenville University with a Nursing Degree.
Her 30 year nursing experience offers a unique support to our center as our
Nurse Consultant.
For many years, Barbee was contracted with Texas A&M as a pre-federal auditor and training specialist for
federal childcare programs.
In addition, Barbee is an
American Heart Association
First Aid and CPR Instructor and provides certification training for our staff.

Barbee has a daughter who attends the University of Texas and a son who still holds baseball records at BISD.
Barbee grand-daughter, Carsyn, is a 2023 Graduate from our K-Prep Program
Barbee and her husband live on the back acreage of the property in their Barndominium. Their Yorkie,, Hazel, is
kid-friendly, kid-safe, and loves giving attention to everyone!
Center Director
Shannon Auld, Director, has over 20 years of Early Education experience. Before joining Brock Country Day in January 2005, she worked as an Assistant Director and a Pre-k Teacher at two other childcare centers in Weatherford. She also helped start a childcare program within her church in 2003.
At Brock Country Day, Shannon has worked in various areas and roles, such as Classroom Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Director, Co-Director, and Director. She has experience with all ages, from Infants to school age, and has led our private school K Prep program. Shannon is detail-oriented, calm, and decisive. She is a role model and a mentor to our BCD staff.
Shannon and her husband and their youngest live in the Brock Community. They have strong relationships with families and children, and ties within the Brock community.

Shannon completed her studies for her Administrators Credential in 2016 and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Shannon enjoys challenges and learning new things. She has played a key role in leading Brock Country Day to success.
